Folks,
The landscape for going public is shifting, and the world's biggest AI companies are taking center stage. SpaceX made a record debut on the Nasdaq, only to see its stock drop from its highs during a wave of market swings. But despite wild price swings in tech, investors still have a massive appetite for top artificial intelligence companies.
Now, Anthropic is speeding up its plans for what could be a historic public debut!
The company secretly filed its IPO paperwork with the SEC back in June. While there is no official date for when it will start trading, Anthropic has started holding early meetings with prospective investors to test the waters.

The Key Focus of Early Investor Meetings
These preliminary meetings are being led by Chief Financial Officer Krishna Rao. So far, the discussions have stayed big-picture and have completely avoided talk of specific valuation numbers or deal terms:
Growing Product Line: Talks focus on the rapid growth of the Claude AI family, including high interest in coding tools like Claude Code.
Focus on Big Business: Anthropic is highlighting its success in selling software to large companies, showing how its technology is becoming essential for everyday business tasks.
Strong Management and Execution: Executives are showcasing the company's steady leadership team and its track record of frequently launching new products.
By focusing on real business growth rather than pricing tags, Anthropic is setting its own narrative before official pitch meetings begin.
Explosive Revenue Growth and Trillion-Dollar Rumors
Anthropic was founded in 2021 by former researchers and executives who left OpenAI. Since then, its business growth has outpaced almost every traditional startup timeline.
Private Funding Lead: In late May, Anthropic raised money at a massive $965 billion valuation, pulling ahead of main rival OpenAI, which was valued at $852 billion in March.
Surging Revenues: Anthropic revealed that its annualized revenue rate topped $47 billion in May—a huge leap from the roughly $10 billion it brought in during all of 2025.
Talk of a $2 Trillion Valuation: Because of this fast revenue growth, some outside investors think Anthropic could aim for a $2 trillion valuation when it goes public. However, sources confirm this $2 trillion idea comes from outside investors, not from Anthropic itself.

The Race to Rule the Public AI Market
Anthropic’s early move to meet with investors puts it a step ahead of its main rival in the race to Wall Street. OpenAI also filed secret IPO paperwork shortly after Anthropic, but as of late June, it had not started holding early meetings or set a clear schedule.
First-Mover Advantage: By starting investor conversations first, Anthropic sets the standard for how Wall Street will evaluate large AI companies.
Rivalry with OpenAI: While OpenAI continues to expand, Anthropic’s strong sales to large businesses have made it a favorite for investors looking for proven AI growth.
The Bigger Market Picture: After seeing SpaceX's record debut followed by stock drops, Wall Street buyers are paying extra attention to real sales and sustainable profits.
As regulators review its paperwork behind the scenes, Anthropic's early investor meetings show that the next major wave of AI IPOs is right around the corner.
Anyways...
That's all for now!
Until Next Time,
-ZT Team
