Before it did, the Block Hunter Surveillance Console picked up a 48,000-contract NVIDIA 200/225 call spread and a 37,000-contract AMZN 260/290 spread. That's not a coincidence. That's the signal beneath the surface of a market most traders never think to look for. And that wasn't the only thing the console caught this week. Monday it flagged a 30,000-contract XLF roll up to the May 15th 52 calls and a 45,000-contract bullish vertical in TLT. Wednesday a single 20,000-contract Citigroup 140/150 spread printed while I was live. And Thursday the S&P 500 printed a fresh all-time high with only 12 stocks making new highs — a breadth stat matched only five times in history, including March 2000 and April 1999.
