But anyway, it might seem counter-intuitive that I like to take naps. I mean, we're surrounded by "hustle culture" - work hard, make huge amounts of effort, and finally (after a 10,000 hours), you finally start to get what you want. But I think differently. Like my friend James Altucher, in his recent book, talks about. You gotta skip the line. Everywhere possible, you should take a shortcut. Even saying it sounds bad, right? You're not supposed to do that. You're supposed to work hard. You're supposed to do what you're told. You're supposed to "pay your dues." But every day, people skip the line. Rich people skip the line all the time. They get what they want with less effort. If it's okay for them, why not you? It IS ok. It's not just ok, it's the dirty little secret that successful people everywhere do. They skip ahead, take shortcuts, use the shortest path with the least effort to get what they want. And it's perfectly ok. Let me ask you something: What would you do with a ton of extra time in your life? Would you take more naps? Would you spend more time with your kids, or grandkids, or making kids (haha!)? The point is, you have every right to get more from less effort. The fact is this: less is more. Doing things the easier way is perfectly ok. Yesterday I told you about my watchlist. It's on sale right now. Later this week, we're quadrupling the price. But we have room for a few more of you in the watchlist group, and it costs less than $.10 a day (assuming you stick around). That's ridiculous, right? And it's the easiest shortcut in the trading business. You can still grab it here. And tomorrow, I want to follow up with more ideas for taking shortcuts in your trading. I'm even working on a new book about it. I love the heck out of you,
Rob
