In today's weekly Exponential Investor podcast, Kit and Sam discuss what it means for the ecommerce and retail sector now that Black Friday is once again upon us.
Deals, sales, bargains galore – it's a rampant time for the online shopper. In this period of Covid-crisis and lockdowns across the country, which retailers will benefit from it all? Or will they benefit at all?
However as Kit explains, perhaps there's a deeper story here to be uncovered and that we're just on a trajectory towards another kind of differentiation amongst brands.
We also talk about some investment ideas that should be considered around Black Friday time and the Black Friday list that all investors should really have.
Also, when looking at brands, perhaps you should also look at the people associated with those brands. That's where the real money is, and it might surprise you exactly who has a big old chunk of it!

When it comes to investing, which predictions should one should nail a portion of one's wealth to? If you want your chance for a possible slice of what research firm IHS Markit predicts will be a potential $13.2 trillion pie... an industry with a potential a growth rate of 694,636%... Capital at risk. Forecasts are not a reliable indicator of future results. |

| What's the most important thing to be successful in this market? | I have a great dislike for "international duties" when it comes to football. Being Australian in the UK when there's some sort of qualifying on for national teams for what appears to be another contrived FIFA tournament it just means there are no Premier League games. When football, Premier League…
