Markets rebound Wednesday, but we're not out of the woods just yet.
| | Good morning: | Well, it's a good thing that we did the lesson on Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) on Wednesday. | The Direxion Daily AAPL Bull 2X Shares (AAPU) that I highlighted during yesterday's session surged nearly 30% yesterday… | That's because President Trump announced a surprise delay on tariffs that will extend at least 90 days while the nation negotiates with other countries. | Well… China will still face remarkable tariffs unless we reach an agreement? | So what happened? | I'll explain the "little urgency" that the White House saw in its bond market - and how that sets up a challenge for America not just in the next 45 days - but also as we move toward a major refinancing challenge of debt in 2025 and beyond… | What else do we have in store? Well… here's a preview of our live show. | Tune In, Tune Up | Markets are under pressure this morning. Futures are down as investors continue to speculate on Trump's plans and the threat of recession. With no sectors in breakout territory, we must look for clues on what could be the first to breakout . | I'll show you the two sectors that you must be ready to trade in the next 48 hours. | We'll go through the top names in each sector and set you up with trades if the right conditions apply. | Revisiting the Watch List | Good news everyone!!! | | With the market showing some life yesterday, we can start looking for opportunities on our Quality-Value-Momentum lists. We're looking to trade these names IF and ONLY if they break above the 20-day moving average. When these stocks get support from a rotation to good companies … they can breakout in a major way. | Revisiting Key Tickers | It's earnings season. So, we have to have a conversation about managing risk at this critical time. What can we expect out of earnings this quarter? To be honest, I don't really care what companies have to say and what to expect. | That's all noise. Price will tell us where this industry is going - which is why it's so important to take each sector one at a time. We'll discuss expectations for the finacnial sector as we prepare for reports tomorrow from JPMorgan Chase (JPM), Wells Fargo & Company (WFC), and Morgan Stanley (MS). | Time to Watch The Shorts! | This week I had a great conversation with Brandon Chapman about Ghost Prints and what we should look for in the markets. Today, we have to take a look at the large number of stocks with heavy short interest. I'll walk you through the top names to watch and trade - and most importantly - when I'll be actively trading them. | It's all live at 8:45 am. You can join me right here. | Can't wait to see you there! | Stay positive, | Garrett Baldwin |
