 Greetings Everyday Spy, It was 2am on Tuesday and both children decided to wake up… and wake me up along with them.
Having your children wake you in the middle of the night isn't like any other wake-up. It's a mix of startle, worry, and frustration that flips your attention into hyperdrive almost instantly. It is nature's way of giving parents a boost of cognitive power in case of a late night emergency.
But after I helped Sina get some water and tucked Alai back into her sheets, they drifted back to glorious sleep. And I was left wide awake. No emergency this time… but thanks, mother nature.
To make the most out of my windfall of late-night energy, I opted for... YouTube.
I was recently asked to comment on a YouTube presentation about Chinese Espionage by The Institute of World Politics. The presentation was given by a Fellow from the Jamestown Foundation and ran a little longer than an hour.
