Nov 10, 2020     Spin Control Republican goes from loser to winner after this glitch discovered Image Source: ABC News   A Michigan Republican went to sleep on election night fully believing he had lost his board of commissioner's seat to a Democratic challenger. But when he awoke the next day, he had actually won. Election officials reported that a "glitch" in how some precincts were counted resulted in double vote counts for the Democratic candidate. So instead of losing by just over 100 votes, Adam Kochenderfer won by over 1000 votes.
