Special Trade Alert: An Early Exit on Our BRK.B Put

Our open put option trade on Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.B), the BRK.B 10 May 24 $375 Put, doesn't expire until next Friday, May 10. However, Berkshire Hathaway just announced this morning that they plan to release quarterly results on Saturday, May 4.

Ordinarily, BRK.B shares don't move that much on earnings, since it's such a large conglomerate. But when they last reported in late February, the stock did slide almost 4% lower the week after. So, it makes sense to close out the trade now, just in case.

Fortunately, the BRK.B 10 May 24 $375 Put is trading at roughly breakeven from the entry price we're tracking. In fact, you may earn a small gain if you consider exiting now.
