My pivot number today is 4111 on the ES (S&P 500 futures). Today is the third day of the month and we'll be evaluating all stocks and futures and looking for an edge as the August 3-day frames fill out. So far the market hasn't told us much other than sideways action after the high was made last Friday. The frame numbers we have going into today are 4147 high and 4080 low. Today, we would need to see a sustained move above 4137 for any rally to hold, and this is where having patience really pays. "The movie starts tomorrow."
