Dear Reader, |
Trump does not publicly defend obscure companies every day. |
But when a major U.S. trading partner targeted the profits of one American energy producer, Trump fired back. He warned them they were "making a big mistake." |
Most investors treated it like another political headline. I treated it like a giant arrow pointing toward a deeply mispriced stock. |
This company operates across 3.7 million acres of one of America's most important oil and gas regions. It produces roughly 143,299 barrels of oil and 467 million cubic feet of natural gas every day. |
And with AI data centers demanding staggering amounts of electricity, I believe its natural gas could become even more valuable. |
Yet the market is pricing this company as if none of that matters. |
It generates approximately $3.2 billion in operating income, but the entire business is valued at only around $8 billion. |
That is the disconnect. |
Trump recognized the company's strategic importance. Wall Street institutions already own approximately 88% of its shares. Management has authorized a 40-million-share buyback. |
But most individual investors still do not know its name. |
I believe that could change quickly once the AI power shortage forces the market to notice what this company controls. |
But I would not wait for this stock to become obvious. |

P.S. Trump warned a major trading partner it was making a "big mistake" by targeting this company with a new tax law. |
Meanwhile, the stock still trades behind an $8 billion valuation despite $3.2 billion in operating income. |
The market may not ignore that forever - click here now to learn about Trump's mystery energy stock. |
