Survival in the wild

Hey there,

There are very few truly wild areas of the world left. Places without roads, without trails, without cabins and without the conveniences of modern life.

The Patagonia is one of them

And today I'd like to share with you the details of one of mankind's most amazing challenges - the Patagonian Expedition Race.

This is a wilderness race unlike any other in the world.

Teams of 4 which must have at least one man and one woman, compete to finish a 600-800km route across the Patagonian wilderness. The route, which is revealed to the participants 24 hours before the start of the race, includes trekking, climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and lots of backcountry navigation.

No GPS units, no night vision equipment, no weapons, no campfires and absolutely no third-party assistance are allowed. Teams are allowed a mandatory knife and are all given the same map.

What comes next is a pure test of human tenacity, teamwork and perseverance.

Survival and self-growth are the only prizes awaiting at the end.
