We Had a Great First Half of 2024 By Larry Benedict, editor, The S&P Trader We had a great first half of 2024… Of the 147 trades we’ve done this year, 80.6% have been winners. As of the end of last week, we’re averaging a 1.41% gain on capital committed per trade. Remember, that’s not 1.41% a year. Our average holding period is just one day. If you made 1.41% in one day and repeated that over the 252 days in a trading year, you’d be up 355.32%.
