The first Fed announcement of 2023, a jobs reports, and earnings from AAPL, AMZN, and GOOG is a lot of action for the market this week. Can the overbought rally hold, or is it time for a rest? One thing is for sure: Volatility will be in full force. I'm watching levels noted on the S&P Futures chart above for a power range of about 4150 down to 3970. The 200-day moving average still moving down (yellow line) is probably too tempting a target for at least one of the news events this week. If hit, will the 200-day area end up being a buying point or a give-it-up point? Think and win!

My pivot on the ES (S&P 500 futures) today is 4035. Resistance is 4075 and Support is 3995. The market sold off some overnight with the ES trading down to 4007.
