Dear Loyal Reader, My latest guest wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Instead, he defined his life through service, sacrifice and commitment. Allen West serves his family, country and above all, God. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, among two generations of combat veterans who gave everything they had to defend democracy. Allen was raised to believe that there was no greater honor than wearing the uniform of the United States of America. And over the next few decades, he would go on to become the third of four generations of servicemen in his family. He’d also receive numerous honors for his leadership during the war in Iraq. Though he retired from the Army in 2004, Allen still serves his country as the chairman of the Republican Party of Texas.
