CASEY DAILY DISPATCH - Casey Research

Hey guys, Dave here, and welcome to Path to Profits.

There’s a lot of exciting stuff going on in geotech, strategic materials, finance, and the companies that drive those trends…

You see, no one covers this space like we do. So every week, I’ll highlight the top hotspots gaining momentum in the media.

It’s how we find our best money-making opportunities, just ripe for big gains.

Check out this week’s top hotspots below to find out which trends are gaining traction…

This Week's Top Hotspots

➤ A billionaire-backed AI start-up hunted for cobalt.
KoBold Metals acquired exploration properties for the battery metal in Canada, Australia, and Zambia. The firm – funded partially by Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and Jeff Bezos – wants to use advanced data analysis to create a “Google Maps of the Earth’s crust.”

➤ Lithium prices exploded in China.
Battery-grade lithium prices surged 40% in January as compared to year-ago levels. Lithium is now the most expensive it’s been since June 2019. Stocks of lithium mining companies soared as much as 129% during the month.

Seattle city council passed a near-ban on natural gas for heating in larger new buildings. The move follows several other cities banning gas to reduce greenhouse emissions. Texas state legislators fought back – introducing a bill to prevent municipal gas bans.

Chinese conglomerate Tsingshan Holding will fund most of a copper smelter in Indonesia for Freeport-McMoRan, according to Indonesian officials. The new facility is expected to cost $2.8 billion, but officials said Freeport will only pay a fraction.
