There is Truly No Stopping This Horrific Illness! Dear Money & Crisis Reader, Have you heard about HORRIFIC illness that is hitting the U.S.? It's truly terrifying. The CDC reports that between 29 million and 41 million people were infected with it in the last four months. Already there have been over 280,000-500,000 hospitalizations. Even worse, this illness is proving fatal! It's killed between 16,000 and 41,000 people (depending on your source) in the U.S. already. And that's just since October! The Trump administration did nothing to stop this. If anything, this is the worst media cover-up of a pandemic I've ever seen. And there is no sign of a treatment that can stop it. If anything, it's going to be back again next year! I'm talking about the flu. Putting Coronavirus into Context The world has collectively lost its mind yet again with the coronavirus. Thus far, the virus is believed to have infected something like 75,000 people, and killed 3,000 worldwide. The flu killed more than that in the U.S…. in the last month alone. According to the CDC, the flu infects between 29 MILLION and 41 MILLION people in the U.S. Every. Single. Year. The flu. This year alone, the flu caused 280,000-500,000 HOSPITALIZATIONS and 16,000-41,000 DEATHS. Mind you, these aren't numbers from third-world countries… this is SOLELY IN THE U.S. Did the media once refer to this as a pandemic? Did the media say it would trigger a recession? Did the media go bananas, saying flu would infect us all and wipe out humanity? No. They didn't even mention it except to suggest getting a flu shot. Look, I know you're all anxious. And I don't blame you. If you're getting your information from the mainstream media, you probably believe that we are about to enter an extinction event with COVID-19. However, the above facts are just that… facts. The flu is a much bigger, much more terrifying issue for the U.S. But NO ONE says squat about it. If anything, it's just assumed it's going to happen. We even have a "flu season" at this point. Now, the flu is a pretty common thing so let's consider another illness issue: the SARS outbreak of 2003. On average, SARS killed 10% of all confirmed cases. Coronavirus kills about 2%-3%. The majority of the people who are dying are the elderly. Again, I'm not being insensitive here. This is a very sad thing. But it's NOT killing everyone across the board. In comparison, by the way, the flu kills about 0.1% of cases. So coronavirus is more deadly than the flu, but considerably less deadly than SARs, which barely anyone even remembers at this point. Here are some facts concerning coronavirus that I bet the media hasn't told you about: - 82% of all coronavirus cases are mild and require NO medical treatment.
- Some 30,000 people have completely recovered from coronavirus in the last few weeks.
- Walmart hasn't closed a single one of its 430 stores in China. And Walmart executives have stated that sales at stores have not even faltered throughout this pandemic.
Speaking of China… let's discuss their markets. |
