Sat, Dec 20 - 5:30 PM Going through the services -- year-end report cards. Starting with 48-Hour Cashflow. STAA still on my mind. System flagged it. Premium was there. Would’ve expired worthless today for full profit. I exited early. Overthought it. Took myself out of a winning trade. Be great if I could use this skill to actually get me out of bad trades. Focus on the task Josh. Launched this back in February. The edge is selling premium on overpriced options -- our systems flag stocks under $50 using two volatility triggers. These aren’t heavily followed names. Wider bid/ask spreads. In by Wednesday. Out by Friday. 48 hours of risk, rest of the week in cash. 40 wins. 9 losses. Win Rate: 81%. Okay. That’s where we should be. Now the losses. SMCI. Right. Stepped in front of that one. Didn’t follow our own parameters. Too much risk for too little premium. ASPN. Forced that trade right when I launched. Bonus trade for subscribers. Trying too hard. That one led to refund requests. Great way to start a new service Josh. Can’t blame them though. Trading is tough. Nobody wants to start with a loss. LUNR. Wrong date on the moon landing. Got in front of an event that wasn’t even happening yet. IREN. Still working on that one. GRRR. Forgot about that one. Kept triggering for like 6 weeks straight. Great trade. Oh yeah... had a subscriber complain. Didn’t like GRRR. Told me to recommend something else. Okay. Losses are 3x bigger than wins. One bad week can wipe out a month of returns. But we win 8 times out of 10. Net profit: $186. $186. Almost a full year and I’m looking at $186. Hang on. $186 on $595 deployed capital. Return on capital: 26%. Same money in a savings account? $26 for the year. 6x what the bank would’ve paid. S&P 500 did +15%. Beat the index with one trade a week. 48 hours of risk. Looking back at the ugly ones -- SMCI, ASPN, LUNR -- those weren’t system failures. Those were me not following the system. If I stay out of my own way, returns get better. Probably being too critical. But someone has to be. This is a ruthless business. The system works. Edge is still there. I keep getting in the way.
