But you cannot build a long-term movement with people who fundamentally disagree with you on the nature of freedom. If you believe in limited government, you are deeply skeptical of state intervention.  You know that government usually breaks whatever it touches. The abundance liberals don't believe that.  They have a deep, religious faith in the state. They just think the current state is a little too clunky. That is an unbridgeable chasm. The Real Abundance So, what does this mean for you? It means you have to stop looking to Washington for salvation. It doesn't matter if they call themselves conservatives, progressives, or abundance liberals.  If they believe the government should direct the economy, they are going to end up destroying your wealth.
