Market Review: Today is the last day of August.

If there is an oversized rally to put the month of August positive, it could add stress to the beginning of September. Today's market should really be more about September than August. I'm not certain it will. What the market should do, and what it ultimately does are not always aligned. As traders we focus a little less on what the market should do, and a little more on what it ultimately is doing. Right now, we are seeing strength. It does seem odd to say this of the August that started the week 200 points below the open of the month. What's Hot and Not! Lululemon Athletica Inc. (LULU) LULU reports after the bell today. LULU opened the year at 326.88. They opened the Quarter at 379.90 and opened the month at 376.99. So far in August LULU has been up to 394.64 and down to 359.81. Both numbers have moved beyond the range of July. LULU closed yesterday at 376.73.
