In fact…this recipe might be the very thing that destroys Google.
Let me explain.
Google has issued a code red to combat one of the most consequential technologies from uprooting their $150 billion search business - one of their most important verticals and the one they will forever be synonymously linked with.
They even called in the big guns, bringing back founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, to game plan around the coming technological threat.
Imagine a technology that can answer all search queries thoroughly and concisely without the need to scroll through various links and pages that only partially answer your search.
What you're seeing above is ChatGPT, a dialogue model that 'answers follow-up questions, admits its mistakes, challenges incorrect premises, and rejects inappropriate requests.'
ChatGPT is the brainchild of OpenAI, a prominent AI research company partially founded by Elon Musk.
And right now, there's a level of excitement with ChatGPT that hasn't been seen since iPhonemania in 2007, according to Axios.
Right now, its fake Seinfeld scripts, reimagined Shakespearian sonnets dedicated to pop culture figures, parody Harry Potter chapters, and (as demonstrated) recipes.
After toying with the technology, one can see just how impactful it is. On one instance, I initially asked it to explain the importance of AI, which led to a detailed explanation of the beneficial use cases of AI.
When asked to concisely explain the same thing in three sentences, ChatGPT took a second to think and concoct an answer, responding to my question while following my specific parameters.
You can probably see why Google is so afraid of this technology.
This technology is the focal point of a $19 trillion disruption that will change the way the world operates.
It's no secret that Artificial Intelligence could alter humanity's existence and change the world, but what is not obvious is just how it will…
