DTI Daily Rundown - February 28

Market Review: Just Today With only 28 days this year, the month of February will close on Tuesday. Which in itself is a bit of a news events. Wednesday is March 1, 2023. As it currently stands, March should be opening below the open of February and above the open of January, but there is still one more day. The February open of the market was 4085.75, and the January open was 3895.00. The open this week is 3976.50. If the market were trying to get right in between the monthly opens, it's only off by about 15 points. Today's open of 3991.50 has corrected that. The market opens decidedly undecided. This could bring in a lot of frustration.

What's Hot and Not! Target and Costco Target (TGT) reported great earnings and ran up to 175.00. It has retraced to 165.00 and has turned South showing lack of support for retail. Costco (Cost) reports earnings later this week on March 3. Stay tuned for details.
