Is this the end of Bitcoin?

And the return of gold?
The one thing that perplexes me to this day is how investors and traders can flip from bull to bear on a specific position...

Especially, a position they're already in...

You figure, just several weeks ago, folks were calling for Bitcoin to print six figures by year's end.

Now?

"It's all a Ponzi scheme controlled by the 1%!"

This points out an aspect of investing that's paramount to success in the market: Conviction.

Of course, market action can change things and your thesis can be buried instantly if the company or asset you invested in makes a bad decision...

But to go full turncoat because you don't like the price action?

Despite the long term story remaining intact?

That's disastrous.

The same thing has occurred in the alt-energy space... The EV makers and solar companies have been beaten down and "investors" can't wait to break even...

But if they invested for the profits, they should probably stick around.

It's coming.

Today, Dr. Moors talks about a recent breakthrough in energy and battery technology that you'll want to pay attention to...

Read it below.

Keep moving,
Remember the "COVID stocks"? Investors are unsure of how they'll perform in light of the upcoming sector shift...

But Options Coach Chris Hood and Brian Jones break it down to give you what you need to know.

WORD ON THE STREET
Almost Goat Milk, Crypto Crash Pt. Deux, No More Steak

  • IPOatly - On Friday, investors were quick to go bullish on their love for oat milk and Sweden, giving Oatly (OTLY) a valuation of over $13 billion after the company scored close to $1.4 billion on its NASDAQ debut. Originally priced at $17 per share, the stock price jumped at the open by over 30% before finishing the day's session at $22.46. Although Oatly's products have only been available in the U.S. for five years, growing demand in the non-animal product food industry with doubling revenue has made it a top choice for many investors. It's like goat milk, but with oats. And without the first letter. Oat milk.

  • "Digital Fool's Gold" - Already reeling from watching over $1 trillion get blasted off of the world's digital asset market value on Wednesday, crypto traders braced themselves once again as the downfall continued over the weekend. Around mid-afternoon on Sunday, close to all major crypto assets began plunging with Bitcoin retracing from its mild recovery back towards its midweek lows and Ethereum printing as low as $1,733.58, a price not seen since March of this year. Some experts are blaming the speculative qualities of the over 9,000 cryptocurrencies in existence while others have pointed towards fear over more regulation. How does dip buying work in this case? "Wait- this is the dip… No, this is the dip… No, this is the dip…"
  • There's the Beef. - It's time to go vegetarian… well, maybe just pescatarian. The latest figures from a Bloomberg survey show that inflation is causing Americans to pare down their grocery lists, particularly when going down the meat aisle. Out of the 2,200 surveyed, one in three said grocery expenditures have been on the rise with close to 65% claiming red meat had risen more than other items like milk and seafood, although the data showed chicken to be a close second. Those live cattle futures traders sure are... bullish.

  • COVID-19 Sweepstakes - Early Monday morning, United Airlines (UAL) announced that it was opening a contest running from May 24th through June 22nd that will allow five MileagePlus members who've entered to win a year of free travel. In an effort to incentivize citizens to get vaccinated, entry into the contest requires that passengers provide proof of documentation to the airline digitally. Thirty pairs of tickets will also be given out during the month of June, but the real prize is the full year of flying which would include the option to choose any class ticket throughout the world. Economy class tickets to Baghdad? Sold.

HOT SPOTS: What's going on in geopolitics

  • Belarus Hijacks Flight: Opposition journalist Raman Pratasevich was seized by Belarussian security services after his flight was diverted. President Alexander Lukashenko reportedly ordered a Mig-29 to accompany the flight after a "bomb threat" was supposedly called in to the plane. The plane diverted to Minsk, where the dissident was seized. Western officials have dismissed the bomb threat as a thinly veiled pretext to execute what Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda called a "state-sponsored terror act."

  • Hamas Has A Parade: Hamas is claiming victory in the recent conflict with Israel, staging a parade with hundreds of armed fighters through the streets of Gaza City. Leader Yehiyeh Sinwar appeared in public for the first time since the war began. While the world's attention has been focused on Israel, many are overlooking the massive divisions among the Palestinians. Thousands rallied against Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, a sign that Hamas seeks to oust its more moderate rival.

  • Volcano Blows In The Congo: Thousands are fleeing after the "Nyiragongo" volcano exploded and turned the sky red with flames. Power has been cut in the nearby city of Goma and the air smells of sulfur, creating a literally hellish atmosphere. However, there is thus far no flow of lava towards the city and the evacuation remains largely precautionary.
'CUTTING EDGE: What's Happening In Tech

  • Covid Dog Squads - Dogs can be trained to detect COVID-19 in patients - even if the infected are asymptomatic. Now, backed by new research from the London School of Tropical Medicine, scientists believe that they may be able to create a system for dogs to check passengers at airports and train stations. The government may not require a vaccine pass, but being inspected by dogs before you can go anywhere seems even more dystopian.

  • Sonic Energy Attack Mystery - It happened in Cuba. It happened in Washington DC. Now, American national security officials are scrambling to explain what is behind the mysterious "sonic" attacks that have hit American personnel around the world. There have been at least 130 cases of "Havana Syndrome," an attack that causes victims to be dizzy, nauseous, or otherwise incapacitated. American troops have also reportedly been targeted. However, thus far, the CIA and other intelligence groups don't know who is behind it... or what America should do if an adversary is identified.

  • UFO Task Force - I don't know if this the end of a coverup or the beginning of a new one. Because of a COVID-19 relief bill signed by then-president Donald Trump, the American people will soon get to read a report on UFO sightings by military personnel. The Defense Department has also established an Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force, something designed to track possible threats. With the military having recently released footage of aircraft performing seemingly impossible feats, UFOs have gone from fringe to mainstream, and the federal government may be preparing the public for some startling revelations.
Why is the military releasing images like this all of a sudden?
FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION

"The ability to store and retrieve energy in more efficient, applicative, and seamless ways will expand usage while cutting costs. That is about as 'Grail-like' as it comes."

Electric vehicles and clean energy sound great. Unfortunately, there's been one major obstacle holding up progress for years... until now. One company may have finally found the solution in the most unexpected way. Energy expert Dr. Kent Moors explains.

BEFORE THE BELL
Gaps shouldn't worry you so long as you're making note of them and GAN Limited (GAN) has one that you can't miss.

...It's the gray box to the left.

But this is known as a "breakaway" gap, meaning that it's unlikely that it will be filled - at least not fully.

GAN has shown promise due to its involvement in the growing eSports and gambling industry, but the chart illustrates that it's been volatile.

However, GAN is currently below all major moving averages and is seated right above support (gray bubble). If it falls below here with some power, it could begin its descent to the projected trendline (gold arrow) and continue falling.

I'd watch for a bounce off support before thinking about going long.
