Inflation took another jab at the bull market this week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 600 points on Wednesday after a report showed consumer goods prices surged 4.2% in April, the highest spike since 2008.

But investors saw an opportunity to “buy the dip,” and stocks regained a chunk of those losses to close out the week. It looks like the bull market will charge on.

Speaking of dips, the Money & Markets team is targeting one segment of the market in particular: biotech. Chief investment strategist Adam O’Dell is not worried about the recent pullback in biotech stocks. In fact, he sees this as an open door for investors like you to get into the innovative field.

Pro tip: For more on the future of biotech, check out the latest edition of The Bull & The Bear.

Tomorrow, Adam will show you how the “size” factor of his proprietary Green Zone Ratings system for stocks helped one biotech small-cap grow into a healthy $4.5 billion mid-cap in only one year. And it’s not done growing yet!

For now, here are some highlights on biotech and more from the last week on Money & Markets:

  • Adam isn’t the only biotech bull we have around here. Research analyst Matt Clark is right there with him, and he found a small-cap play within the industry. It rates well on Green Zone Ratings and has massive growth potential. Click here to find out more about this “Strong Bullish” stock.
  • President Biden made waves with his recent capital gains tax proposal. You might be worried that a tax hike of this magnitude will scare big money out of markets. Adam walks you through Biden’s proposal and what it means for smaller investors like us, here.
  • Green Zone Fortunes co-editor Charles Sizemore is back with another dividend stock to bolster your retirement portfolio. This American staple almost doubled its share price since the COVID-19 crash, and it’s poised for a steady climb higher, all while paying a competitive yield. Read more here.
