70% Market Boom

This bull market is too strong to ignore.

After a midweek scare sent the S&P 500 more than 2% lower on Wednesday, investors saw opportunity, and the index closed within 80 points of its all-time high on Friday. It looks like the tech trade is back on as the Nasdaq closed almost 50 points higher from where it started on Monday.

It wasn’t smooth sailing across financial markets though. After an epic run to start the year, many cryptocurrencies proved how volatile they can be (more on that below).

It’s a strange bull market, but the Money & Markets team is working hard to make sense of it all. And we are tracking top trends for you to invest in today.

Check out last week’s highlights:

  • Biotech update: Chief investment strategist Adam O’Dell isn’t shy about his bullish outlook for biotech, especially when it comes to genomics and DNA-based medicine. In his two updates last week, Adam showed how the size factor of Green Zone Ratings reveals stocks that consistently outgain their larger (by market cap) counterparts. He also explained a strategy that balances risk by investing in well-established companies alongside up-and-comers. Read about the “barbell” approach here.
  • Cryptocurrency crash: Research analyst Matt Clark dove into Bitcoin’s latest crash — which topped 40% at one point — in The Bull & The Bear. Click here to see what headwinds cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum face now, and see what Matt thinks is a better hedge against inflation.
  • AT&T’s biggest blunder: Green Zone Fortunes co-editor Charles Sizemore is our resident dividend expert. So, when AT&T dumped its Time Warner media arm last week, he went into action to see what that means for its high-yielding dividend. To see if AT&T is still an income play worth making, click here.
  • Market gut punch: This bull market is a great wealth opportunity, but we can’t ignore sell-offs like what happened this week. Charles shares a few quick ways you can reassess your portfolio to assure you maximize profitability without suffering a stomach ulcer in the process. Read about it here.

"IMPERIUM": The No. 1 Investment of the 2020s

Could the technology behind this odd-looking machine really be the most transformative innovation in history? Experts are screaming "YES"! Elon Musk calls it "amazing…" A former Apple CEO says "[it will] have a far bigger impact on humanity than the Internet"… While a Harvard Ph.D. says it will "[surpass] the space, atomic, and electronic revolutions in its significance." It's a technology I call "Imperium." And it's about to spark the biggest investment mega trend in history … with one small Silicon Valley company at the center of it all. Want the details?
