CASEY DAILY DISPATCH - Casey Research

Hey guys, Dave here, and welcome to Path to Profits.

There’s a lot of exciting stuff going on in geotech, strategic materials, finance, and the companies that drive those trends…

You see, no one covers this space like we do. So every week, I’ll highlight the top hotspots gaining momentum in the media.

It’s how we find our best money-making opportunities, just ripe for big gains.

Check out this week’s top hotspots below to find out which trends are gaining traction…

This Week's Top Hotspots

➤ BMW signed a massive deal for U.S. lithium.
The luxury automaker committed to buying $335 million of the battery metal from domestic producer Livent. This is BMW’s first purchase of American lithium, following deals in Australia and Argentina. I’ve been pounding the table on lithium in my Strategic Investor advisory – and one of my picks is up 115% as I write.

➤ GE signed its largest wind farm order in history.
Developers of an Oklahoma project ordered 531 turbines – the most GE has ever delivered for a single onshore job. The new wind facility will produce 1,450 megawatts of power, making it the second-largest onshore project in America.

➤ A pension fund poured $7.4 billion into platinum miners.
South Africa’s Public Investment Corporation – which manages government worker pensions – said it’s already seen “great” returns on the investment. Indexes of platinum miners have jumped more than 600% over the past year.

➤ Greenland voters shut down a rare earths mine.
The left-wing Ataqatigiit party won the general election, after opposing a planned mine for the critical metals. The party’s leader bluntly told local media, “It won’t happen.”

➤ An EV-related prank sent Volkswagen's stock soaring.
In an apparent April Fools’ day stunt, the automaker announced it was changing its name to “Voltswagen.” The tables turned, however, when the company’s shares surged 12.5% on the news – causing a furor of complaints.
