Here’s the latest on Moneyworks, IBD’s financial literacy program
See how we're introducing investing and personal finance to a whole new generation…
The response to IBD’s new Moneyworks program has been overwhelming! We’re glad to see that so many people support our mission of bringing improved financial literacy to a new generation of students and young adults.
We’ve received many requests and questions on the Moneyworks program. Here’s an update on the program’s progress, how it will be growing in the months ahead and answers to some popular questions.
Here’s where we are:
Right now, we have completed the Personal Finance educational presentation, the first of three. We are currently taking requests from educators interested in having one of IBD’s speakers hold a virtual presentation on Personal Finance (approximately 1 hour long) for high school classes. Email us at moneyworks@investors.com to schedule.
In Q1, 2021, we’ll be completing the How to Start Investing and Growth Investing presentations and we’ll be offering virtual events for those as well.
In the coming months, we’ll be launching an online hub at moneyworks.investors.com so that anyone can learn this material at their own pace from anywhere. It is not accessible to the public yet, so bookmark the page and check back. We’ll make announcements as the website gets built out.
All of the Moneyworks content will be offered completely free of charge.
Thanks to everyone who reached out in support of this cause. For those who asked how they could help, we will get back to you when the program has expanded with more updates and to let you know how you can get involved.
In the meantime, spread the word about Moneyworks to anyone interested in financial literacy! Our email address is moneyworks@investors.com.
