Justice Clarence Thomas administered the oath of office, officially placing Judge Barrett on the bench of our nation's highest court. With Barrett's confirmation, the last president to have appointed three Supreme Court justices before Trump was Ronald Reagan. Many conservatives hope that Barrett's appointment will solidify a conservative slant for the Supreme Court, especially as Chief Justice Roberts often sides with the court's liberal justices. Hopefully, history will show that Barrett was an excellent choice for the court.
