The iPad will never catch on

Not a chance that’ll work Dear Reader,   Back in the mid-00s, you may remember the announcement of the iPhone, or it’s tablet sister the iPad.   Now, these devices are everywhere. I don’t think I know anyone who hasn’t owned one or the other in the past decade or so.   But no-one seems to talk about the fact that, when they were announced, many people laughed at the idea of a ‘smartphone’, let alone a so-called ‘tablet’.   Why would you even need one?   The questions might still be valid, but it doesn’t matter;   Both devices are now part of the fabric of society.   What point am I making?   Simple.   Whether we like it or not, certain changes and breakthroughs are inevitable.   Right now, one single chip is slowly being installed in 369 million devices across the world, by almost every major tech firm you choose to name.   From Apple to Google to Samsung to Sony to Nintendo…   This single chip represents a sweeping, inevitable change to the tech world.   You can, if you choose to, deny that this change is coming. Or you can choose to hate why it’s happening.   Or you can accept that it is happening.   Up to you.   But to me, the only right decision is to learn as much as you can about it so that you can potentially profit from what is, to me, the most inevitable technological progression of the past decade.
