Kit Winder | 8 July 2020 An act of atonement… Dear Reader,   Thanks to an anonymous SS diary written 75 years ago…   Handed in by a secret society over 1,000-years old…   In atonement for the horrors of the Second World War…   Security fences are being rushed up at a dilapidated, rat-riddled 16th century mansion.   It could be a Spielberg script…   But it isn’t. The story first broke on Polish news site, The First News.   And it actually highlights an important investment opportunity.   You see, 60 metres underground…   Buried at the bottom of a well in the grounds of the Hochberg Palace, Southwest Poland…   Are said to be 28-tonnes of Nazi gold and other valuables worth BILLIONS.   For decades after the war, the "Michaelis" diary was hidden away in the town of Quedlinburg, Germany… the possession of a Masonic lodge that has existed as a secret society for more than 1,000 years and counted elite Nazi officers among its members during the time of the Third Reich.    The diary apparently details 11 locations where valuables including gold, religious artefacts and bank deposits, as well as art looted from Germany, Poland, France, Belgium and Russia.   It’s a perfect example of stashing wealth in off-the-grid assets.   Something my colleague Nickolai Hubble has researched in depth.   If you’d like to distance a small portion of your money away from an increasingly fragile financial system…   He has outlined six legitimate steps you can take here.   No looting required!   Best,   Kit Winder Editor, Southbank Investment Research
