Nvidia (NVDA) is best known for making high-end graphics processors, especially for gaming applications. When bitcoin miners found that graphics cards were actually the best solution for crunching blockchain equations, NVDA got a huge revenue boost. Semiconductor stocks have been hammered, but NVDA has a long history of beating earnings and revenue expectations.
