Just yesterday, the SEC dropped an absolute bomb. |
For 25 years, traders have had to abide by the Pattern Day Trader rule, which required a $25,000 account balance if you wanted to make more than 3 day trades in a 5 day period. |
Under the new rule, traders will just need sufficient equity to cover their actual market exposure. |
This means the barrier that used to keep traders on the sidelines… is gone. (Or at least it will be when the rule goes into effect in a few weeks.) |
More traders can now: |
