We encourage you to check out the opportunity below from Porter & Co. "Men wanted for hazardous journey. Low wages, bitter cold, long hours of complete darkness. Safe return doubtful. Honour and recognition in event of success." So read explorer Ernest Shackleton’s 1913 appeal for his famed Antarctic expedition.
Twenty-four brutally honest words was all it took to attract 5,000 applicants.
Applicants Shackleton reportedly sifted into piles labeled “mad”, “hopeless” and “possible.” As he recounted, “it seemed as though all the men of Great Britain were determined to accompany him.”
But only 27 men were eventually selected. 27 brave souls who embarked on a grueling Antarctic expedition where they endured “entrapment, hunger, frigid weather, angry seas, and near madness.”
Today, I’m issuing my own version of Shackleton’s appeal.
While our journey won’t involve low wages, bitter cold, or long hours of complete darkness… if we are successful, honor and recognition are all but guaranteed, because we’re attempting something that’s never been done before.
A mission I’m staking my own money and reputation upon.
One that I believe has the potential to make myself and my fellow journeymen a lot of money over the next few years. But, like Shackleton’s expedition, it won’t be easy. And it’s not for everyone.
Are you in?
All the details are waiting for you here.
