Today I want to share something I noticed about life and trading with you. It has to do with Fanny Packs. If you don't know what I'm talking about, take a look at this picture:
 YUP! I actually wore that thing out in public. A friend of mine in New York City was mugged recently and the guy got all her credit cards, drivers license, and the cash she had on her. He just ripped her purse right off her arm. And since I was planning on visiting New York… And I usually carry a backpack with me… I figured I should do something to prevent the same thing from happening to me. That's where the Fanny Pack comes in. How does that apply to trading, and to your life? Well, Fanny Packs really aren't anyone's favorite fashion item. Not a lot of people wear them. People make fun of them! They are unsexy. But they work. They are simple… maybe even boring… but they work. Just like the basics of trading. Most traders want to jump right into the "sexy" stuff… They place trades that are too big, with too much risk, and without an understanding of the basics. They know nothing about margin, types of orders, or how to do economic research… They can't read company financials, can't do technical analysis… The list goes on. Friends, you have GOT to know the "unsexy, boring" things about trading first. The Fanny Pack stuff. Once you know all that… the sky is the limit. I love the heck out of you
