Good Morning The equities market crept up to set another new all-time high on Wednesday following reported progress on economic stimulus. The latest reports say the two sides are closing in on a deal that now includes stimulus checks for most Americans. The caveat is that this deal, while a shot in the arm for economic activity, is far less than the proposal for nearly $2 trillion in aid that helped drive the market to these new heights. Wednesday's trading was helped by the FOMC. The FOMC held the last policy meeting of the year and held interest rates unchanged. In addition, Fed chief Jerome Powell says the Federal Reserve Bank is prepared to keep buying U.S. securities until there is substantial progress in the data. This means U.S. investors can expect the easy-money policy that has been driving the market to stay in place for many quarters to come.
