 Image source: Kyle Downes / ABC 7 Every golfer has been there at one time or another: their golf ball veered off course and they had to go on an adventure to find it. For a man in Florida, his adventure to retrieve a golf ball that didn't land quite where he intended turned out to be a risky move.
While Kyle Downes and his brother were golfing at the Coral Oaks Golf Course in Cape Coral, one of his shots took a bizarre turn. As it turns out, Downes' golf ball landed right on the tail of an alligator. Surprisingly, the alligator wasn't phased by the situation and didn't even move.

The 21-year-old shortstop for the San Diego Padres has signed on with Gatorade, and the company's global head of sports marketing likened the deal to the one with New York Yankees star Derek Jeter.
"Jeter had such swagger," Jeff Kearney said. "Walking on the diamond, you just knew he was somebody, and if you didn't know who he was, you knew he was important. I think Tatis brings that...He certainly has all the attributes. The drive, the skills, the passion for the game. We hope to be somebody who adds value to what he hopes to do on the baseball field."

Even with tax credits, electric vehicles still cost more than their traditional gasoline-powered counterparts. And it's that price difference that's kept mainstream consumers from purchasing EVs.
But as battery technology continues to advance, the price gap between the two types of vehicles will begin to close.
Some experts believe that EVs will eventually match an average combustion-engine vehicle's price as soon as 2023.
And a lot of credit goes to Tesla, as the company has forced battery makers to speed along rechargeable tech's evolution to meet the growing demand for Tesla vehicles.
