After yesterday's email, I got a reply from Jessica, my buddy's girlfriend. "Were you writing about us? Am I the poor peasant girl living with your pal the rich prince?"

Oops.

So, let me set the record straight.

Jessica is perfectly fine and happy with her life. She makes a decent living and is quite happy skipping out on Apple watches and expensive steaks.

And quite obviously, how they organize their lives is, of course, none of my business.
