| | | | Trump Sues IRS, Treasury for $10 Billion President Trump filed a lawsuit Thursday against the IRS and the Treasury Department for at least $10 billion, alleging they failed to prevent leaks of his and his family's tax returns. The suit, filed by Trump, his sons Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr., as well as the Trump Organization, alleges the tax disclosures caused embarrassment, business damage and lost voter support in 2020. IRS and Treasury officials had no immediate comment. IRS contractor Charles "Chaz" Littlejohn, then with Booz Allen Hamilton, pleaded guilty to stealing unmasked taxpayer data and providing it to The New York Times and ProPublica between 2018 and 2020. Littlejohn received a 5-year sentence in 2024 for violating tax secrecy rules. The Treasury Department this week cut all Booz Allen contracts, saying the company's safeguards were inadequate. | Feds Arrest ex-CNN Host Don Lemon Former CNN anchor Don Lemon was arrested by federal authorities late Thursday night, accused of involvement in a protest that disrupted a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota. The case stems from a Jan. 18 incident at Cities Church, where anti-ICE demonstrators entered the sanctuary after alleging a pastor held a leadership role in the St. Paul ICE office. Lemon was arrested in Los Angeles while covering the Grammy Awards. Attorney General Pam Bondi said Lemon and three others were detained "at my direction" in connection with what she called a coordinated attack. Prosecutors have sought charges under laws protecting houses of worship. Lemon's attorney, Abbe Lowell, said Lemon was reporting, not protesting, and called the arrest an "unprecedented attack on the First Amendment." Lemon left CNN in 2023 after a string of on-air controversies. | Actress Catherine O'Hara Dies Catherine O'Hara, the Emmy-winning actress beloved as Kevin McCallister's mother in the holiday hit "Home Alone," died Friday after a brief illness. She was 71. Born in Toronto in 1954, O'Hara became a Canadian standout after joining The Second City and the sketch series "SCTV," where she performed, wrote and won an Emmy in 1982. She later broke through in films like "Beetlejuice," then built a long, eclectic career with comedies such as "Best in Show," including a late-career surge as "Schitt's Creek" matriarch Moira Rose, earning a 2020 Emmy and a 2021 Golden Globe. Not "end of the week." Tonight. As you read this, there are probably fewer than 97 spots left. Here's why I'm interrupting your morning for one final time: The Flyover is in the middle of becoming something rare — a profitable, fast-growing new media company owned by its readers, not legacy institutions, not private equity, not outrage-driven algorithms or political advocates. If you've ever thought: - "The news is broken."
- "There has to be a better way."
- "I wish I could back something like this early."
This is your moment. But it's a narrow one. Once these final spots are filled — or once the clock hits midnight Pacific time — this opportunity is gone. There is no reopening. There is no waitlist. There is no "I'll do it later." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you want to be part of changing how Americans consume news — not as a reader alone, not as a critic, but as an owner — stop reading right now and invest. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Because if you delay, there simply won't be a spot left.
