Dear Leah, Sandy and I just got back from Italy... We spent four great nights at a Palazzo in Florence. And we dined at a little hole in the wall called Sostanza – famous for its "Petti di pollo al burro," or "Buttered Chicken." It's an amazing dish – slowly basted in boiling butter until the outside develops a delicate brown crust. But now that I'm back in the real world, I'm contending with a flood of questions about the ominous market briefing my friend Porter Stansberry issued last week. Porter believes there's a similar sort of "slow boil" going on, but one that's far less appetizing. And the Power Gauge agrees... Financials are in a tough spot today... In this case, the heat is interest rates – and if the heat keeps rising... eventually this financial "slow boil" could spill over. I strongly recommend you consider Porter's advice on how to prepare.
