Why? Because the Taiwan question is ripening.
We’ve been talking about this for years: at some point China will try to take Taiwan.
Xi Jinping has even, as a part of an “economic settlement” - a big trade deal - asked President Trump to walk away from Taiwan, promising not to get in the way of China taking it over.
If I were President Trump, I’d be telling my commanders, “look - we’re getting to that ‘punch-through’ point, where in the next 12 months if we don’t agree with Chinese President Xi Jinping on how this deal should look - if we don’t give them what they want - there’s a very good chance that China goes and tries to take Taiwan.”
It’s a very serious, high stakes game that is happening right now.
The very future of which country controls technology in the 21st century really hinges on the Taiwan question.
Taiwan makes 90% of the world’s advanced semiconductors — the chips powering AI.
Every Nvidia chip that’s making AI possible comes from Taiwan.
The reason Nvidia is a $4 trillion company is because they’re selling chips manufactured in Taiwan, and Chinese President Xi Jinping is definitely the only person on Earth who could stop AI with the flip of a switch.
That means Xi Jinping, just 108 miles away, has the power to choke off the AI revolution with one move.
And he has made clear he intends to get Taiwan.
The critical mass of what we’ve been talking about for five years now is really starting to come together.
