Its 2024 revenue surged 124% year-over-year to $6.2 million, while its net profit margin improved considerably. | During 2024, the company sold and delivered 12 battery swap stations, but on June 20, UCAR announced it will build 55 smart battery swap stations in Hong Kong alone, including four bus-only stations and the world's first ferry swap stations. | | As part of the strategy, UCAR established an alliance with the Hong Kong Taxi Owners Association to collaborate on battery-swapping services for the region's 18,000 taxis. | And just on Monday, UCAR revealed an agreement with an Electric Service Provider in Macau to deploy battery-swapping stations for approximately 600 four-wheeler EVs and 5,000 two-wheeler EVs within three years. | The company has also established partnerships in Thailand, Portugal, Peru, and Mexico "to jointly promote UOTTA battery-swapping service," and it is "working on building a battery-swapping ecosystem in these markets." | Going forward, UCAR plans to: | "Continue investing in our AI-based data management cloud platform which connects UOTTA-powered EVs with stations and assists UOTTA-powered EV drivers locate the closest compatible UOTTA swapping stations on their route."
