| | *together with Theotrade | Hey everyone. You know how everyone's been talking about these crazy market swings lately? Well, I've got someone I want you to meet who's been absolutely crushing it through all this volatility. Just like I introduced you to Lance last week, today I'm bringing you Tony Rago - and this guy is a straight-up wizard when it comes to reading the markets. | Tony's story is pretty incredible. He spent 20 years grinding it out on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange floor, learning from some of the best traders in the world. And get this - he's got a 90% win rate on the Nasdaq. That's not a typo, folks. Nine out of every ten trades this guy makes are winners. Recently, he decided to share his secrets with regular traders like us, including this crisis-time strategy that's been generating 33% gains in single days. | I grabbed his daily playbook from last Thursday and had to share some of the gems I found: (I have included it below for you to check out as well) | This Guy Gets the Psychology Game Tony's biggest lesson? "Don't trade out of boredom." I mean, how many of us have been there, right? The market's just sitting there doing nothing, and you start making stupid trades just because you're antsy. Tony calls these "force trades" and warns against them like they're the plague. Smart guy. | He Keeps It Real About Patience When the market was in that slow, grinding mode (sound familiar?), Tony basically said "look, this is boring, but don't do anything stupid." He wanted to see real breakouts above key levels before getting excited. That's discipline right there. | The Complete Picture Tony wasn't just staring at charts - he had his eye on job numbers, Fed speeches, the whole economic calendar. That's how you trade like a pro instead of just gambling. | Bottom line - Tony Rago's playbook shows you exactly why he's got that legendary win rate. The guy combines old-school floor trading wisdom with modern strategy, and he's not afraid to tell you when to just sit on your hands. That's the kind of advice that actually makes you money. | | Here is Tonys Playbook from last Thursday
| Slow tapes with tight ranges are tough to trade when coming off of bigger ranges and moving markets. Patience is required, discipline is tested. This is the tape we have at the moment and just seems we are waiting for something. NFP is the only big econ on the schedule so hoping we start to see some positioning into that that provides expansion. Dont force trade, make the market force you to trade. Yes this is a reminder to myself as well. Guilty of trading for the sake of trading at times. | Lets see how we open and go from there. One trade at a time. | | | Tony'sPre-MarketPlaybook 06052025.pdf 461.56 KB • PDF File | | Download |
