Dear Reader,
The market is closed today in observance of Good Friday, as Americans prepare for a much-needed holiday break…
Right now I’m vacationing in Tokyo, and Easter isn’t a widely celebrated holiday here.
Instead, the Japanese celebrate the spring season through the flowering of the cherry blossom trees.
From city to countryside, Japan is transformed with the flowering of pink and white petals from thousands and thousands of trees — bringing a renewed and hopeful air to the country’s majestic landscape (as you can see in the picture above). It’s truly awe-inspiring to witness firsthand.
I hope you have a wonderful Easter, Passover, cherry blossom season, or whatever else you’re celebrating this weekend. We’ll be back next week with more Moneyball Economics.
In the meantime, I hope you get plenty of opportunities to rest, relax, and recharge this weekend.
Because come Monday, we’re back in it to win it.
