Dear Reader,
Today I want to talk about Trump’s “Iron Dome for America.”

By the way, it’s National “Fun at Work” Day, so Sarah and Lizz who write these emails and edit and post these videos – pretend you’re having fun today.
[Blink twice if he’s holding you against your will].
Anyway, the Trump administration came out with an executive order which pushes defense secretary Pete Hegseth to submit to the White House, within 60 days, an architecture and plan to create an Iron Dome missile defense shield for America.
And this is just one of those ideas that’s like – how has nobody done this yet?
Most people don’t realize how vulnerable the U.S. homeland is to missile attacks.
Especially – forget North Korea or a tin pot dictator like that…
I’m talking about China, and Russia – if you look at all these “war games” scenarios…
They all have China shooting missiles at Hawaii, L.A., San Diego…
We see the West Coast just obliterated by Chinese missiles.
This is a serious problem.
What we need, akin to what Israel has, is what they call the “iron dome” – a system of sensors, lasers, etc. that shoot down incoming rockets.

Israel’s Brand-New Weapon
The U.S. has co-developed the most advanced weapon in the world - in a multibillion-dollar deal with Israel.
The New York Times calls it, "impossible to defend against."
The US Army says they're going to "build a lot of them very quickly."
CNBC says that it will “open up a massive market for the defense industry."
And one small defense contractor won the contract to build these weapons.

Trump wants this new plan in place.
It harkens back to Reagan’s “strategic defense initiative” if you remember that.
This is along those same lines, and the tech has finally caught up after all these years.
This “iron dome” is an incredibly smart move. I’m just shocked that no one has done this before.
Like, why wouldn’t the Biden administration have done this?
When you think about China and that Chinese President Xi Jinping has said, “be ready to invade Taiwan by 2027”…
The clock is ticking!
We’ve got two years to dissuade China from doing that.
One big way is to show them in war game scenarios that their missiles won’t nail us as much as ours will nail them.
Which means it’s not mutually assured destruction.
Basically, in this game of move, counter-move, move, counter-move, a missile defense shield like this telegraphs to our adversaries that they cannot mess with us.
So, I’m ecstatic about this.
When I started studying these war games the Pentagon has been doing, and seeing how vulnerable our West Coast was, I just couldn’t believe we hadn’t thought of this.
It harkens back to Trump’s decision in his first term to create our own Space Force – to push it out of the Air Force.
Because when you think of 21st century warfare – distributed warfare – think lots of drones, lots of sensors, satellites, everything communicating…
You really need your own domain, your own chain of command when it comes to space, vs. Air Force.
You can’t have conflicting chains of command.
If you’re an Air Force person, how do you take care of satellites?
You need your own chain of command, organizational structure, encryption, etc. to support satellites – all these things to keep America safe.
So, Trump’s Iron Dome for America is one of the smartest, most common sense ideas I’ve seen in a long time.
And this is the first or second order he gave Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
This is the kind of stuff I like. We are all for this smart move and I hope they move quickly.
I hope Hegseth can move that trillion-dollar bureaucracy quickly enough to actually get this done.
Have a great weekend.
