With the beginning of each new year I enjoy reminiscing.
This year is no different.
Over the last few days, as I have sat at my desk looking out my window at the beautiful scenery and thought back to the early days of my trading career, I can't help but feel an immense sense of gratitude.
Why?
Because as I think back to those early days of my personal trading journey (over 30 years ago), I remember the excitement and the passion that I felt as I was embarking on a new journey to learn to trade…
However I also remember the loneliness, frustration, anxiety, and discouragement that came on that bumpy learning path.
I think about the countless times I wanted to smash the computer monitor… or maybe just throw in the towel…
Oh man, how grateful I am that I decided to stick it out!
I think of the trial and error, the breakthroughs, the mentors who helped, and ultimately how it all contributed to me wanting to create a network of traders to uplift and help one another to succeed.
I founded Traders Edge Network 20 years ago as a means to rescue frustrated traders, to surround myself with other like minded individuals, and to ultimately have a platform where I could hone my craft and to share what I am learning with those willing to listen.
As I sit here writing this email I feel damn proud of what this Network has become!
I think back and wish I could give myself what we have created here.
