There's a secret energy grid hіddеn throughout 28 states.
But the U.S. government doesn't want you to know about it.
Why? Because if the public knew there was a secret energy grid that could power every hоmе with clean energy…
The $463 bіllіоn oil and gas industry would take a MASSIVE hit. So would the $856 renewable energy industry.
But thanks to a recent decision made by America's powerbrokers on Feb 23, 2023, the energy being produced by this grid is about to become scalable for the first time… unleashing $1 trіllіоn in nеw wealth in the process. Watch this.
Pirates of the Caribbean is one of Disney's most successful franchises, so much so that even those who have not watched the films are aware of its lead character, the swashbuckling Captain Jack Sparrow. Sparrow was mostly created by the actor who plays him, Johnny Depp. Starting merely as an adaptation of a theme park ride carrying the same name, Pirates of the Caribbean soon grew into a popular and much-loved franchise with fans across the world. The first film, Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, was released in 2003, with sequels being released in 2006, 2007, 2011, and 2017. While viewership fell off considerably in the later films, everybody still seems to love Captain Jack. MOVIEWEB VIDEO OF THE DAY Close Updated June 4th, 2023: This article has been updated with new information regarding Pirates of the Caribbean 6 by Nikole Finger. Pirates of the Caribbean 6 was announced in 2018. However, despite the many years that have passed, substantial information regarding the movie is scarce. Several things, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the high-profile trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, have hindered progress on the film. In the meantime, fans have generated an abundance of rumors and speculations. Despite Depp seemingly being done with the franchise, many fans still want to see Captain Jack Sparrow return. What is the status of the sixth entry in the popular franchise, and will it be going in a different direction? Pirates of the Caribbean 6: The Plot Davy JonesWalt Disney Studios Since Pirates of the Caribbean 6 was announced in 2018, many screenwriters have taken a pass at the script. Originally Deadpool screenwriters Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick were set to pen the script. Then Craig Mazin, recently the creator of the HBO series The Last of Us, joined original Pirates of the Caribbean screenwriter Ted Elliot in 2019. The only plot detail anyone has to go off of is the ending of the previous film. Dead Men Tell No Tales featured a post-credits scene with Davy Jones. Although Will believes that Jones appears to him in a nightmare, viewers are made privy to the knowledge that Jones was actually in the room through the camera zooming to show barnacles on the floor. Therefore, the sixth movie may revolve around the tentacled villain returning to the franchise. Will Johnny Depp Return to the Franchise? Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Man's ChestWalt Disney Studios Whether or not Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow will return has been a burning question for many. Fan opinion has been divided, with some vehemently opposing the return of Depp while others refuse to see a movie without their adored character. Depp has been surrounded by a multitude of legal and personal troubles since being accused of domestic abuse by his ex-wife Amber Heard. Although he seems to have come out of the trial on top, both legally and in the court of public opinion, his career and reputation are more fragile now. While other companies may be willing to work with him again now that the evidence from the trial has become public, Disney may still stay away to protect their public image. RELATED: What Makes Pirates Of The Caribbean A Masterpiece? Not only has Disney cut ties with Depp but Depp appears to have cut ties with them, feeling betrayed by the studio. Depp reiterated that nothing on this earth would get him to return to Disney and said, "There was a deep and distinct sense of feeling betrayed by the people I've worked hard for. People that I delivered a character to that they initially despised, but I stuck to my guns with the character, and it seemed to work." However, Depp has also expressed his regret over not being able to give the franchise a proper goodbye. Bruckheimer said he still has hope to bring Johnny Depp back to the franchise. Pirates of the Caribbean 6: The Cast Pirates-5Disney A cast for the movie has not yet been confirmed. However, Kaya Scodelario, who played Carina Barbossa in Dead Men Tell No Tales, has stated that she is contractually bound to appear in one more Pirates of the Caribbean film. Therefore, we expect to see the actress in the franchise's latest installment. Perhaps the plot of the movie could even follow her story. However, despite a lovely performance by Kaya, Carina is far from a fan favorite. She is a forgettable character, and asking audiences to watch a film about someone they don't remember isn't a great marketing technique. Other than Scodelario, only educated guesses can be made about who may be a part of the latest movie. In February 2022, Orlando Bloom expressed interest in returning for Pirates of the Caribbean 6. The following month in March, Keira Knightly said she would not return to the franchise as she was happy with Elizabeth Swan's ending. Both Bloom and Knightley did return for brief roles in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales but a movie with them in major roles alongside Depp could generate a certain amount of fan nostalgia similar to Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Margot Robbie Pirates of the Caribbean Movie Margot Robbie and Johnny Depp - Pirates of the CaribbeanDisney For a short time, it appeared Disney had shifted the focus off Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and onto spin-off films. In June 2020, it was announced that Margot Robbie was set to star in a Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off film. The idea seemed to be to try to keep the franchise going but move it away from Johnny Depp's Jack Sparrow. Christina Hodson, who previously wrote the script for Robbie's Birds of Prey and is also the screenwriter on The Flash, was set to pen the script. RELATED: Pirates Of The Caribbean Without Jack Sparrow: What Do Fans Think? In November 2022, Robbie indicated the movie was no longer moving forward. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, on the other hand, said that the movie was still in development, but they were working on the script and that Pirates of the Caribbean 6 had taken priority. Robbie has since become busy not just with Barbie but will also lead a new Ocean's 11 movie, and Hodson is now one of the many writers shaping James Gunn's DCU plans. This might explain why Bruckheimer also said there was a separate Pirates of the Caribbean spin-off film in development with a younger cast. Should There Be a Pirates 6? johnny depps captain jack sparrowWalt Disney Pictures If Johnny Depp, and therefore Captain Jack Sparrow, won't be back for the sixth installment of the franchise, is it even worth it? Aside from the sea, the legendary Captain is the only consistent feature in all films. It makes sense that for many fans, a Pirates of the Caribbean film cannot exist without Depp. The demand for his return is apparent, as petitions online are literally demanding that Disney bring Depp back. It is a tricky situation, though as for as many fans who want to see Depp return as Jack Sparrow, there are still plenty who believe he is responsible for domestic abuse. This is not a one-sided issue like how Disney screwed over Robin Williams and was forced to make a public apology. This is a more complex scenario with no clear answer. Disney could gain plenty of money by bringing back Jack Sparrow, but they could also lose money. The cost of the various Pirates of the Caribbean films did increase quite a bit, so is the financial risk worth it for them? The other major factor to consider is Pirates of the Caribbean is not the crown jewel live-action franchise for Disney that it was in the mid-2000s. Back then, Disney was heavily reliant on Pirates of the Caribbean as their big four-quadrant franchise and spent years chasing that success with many unsuccessful franchise attempts. Now though, they have both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars, which generate billions of dollars. While they would certainly love more Pirates of the Caribbean movies because of how strong the brand is, they do not need it the same way. So they can afford to wait and sit on the franchise for a bit longer. Release Date A pirate on a shipBuena Vista Pictures Distribution There is no official release date for Pirates of the Caribbean 6 as of early June 2023. Worth noting is that the first two Pirates of the Caribbean films opened in early July, while the last three were in May, either on or close to Memorial Day weekend. Disney tends to release movies on these weekends, so if Pirates of the Caribbean 6 were to be released, one of those weekends is likely. It does not appear at the moment any news has been made regarding Pirates of the Caribbean 6. The studio is refocusing its efforts and has now laid off over 7,000 employees and removed a large number of titles from Disney+ and Hulu in a cost-cutting measure. Disney has many high-profile films in development that will likely take precedence over a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
