You know, it's pretty much like reading a textbook. As the Federal Reserve was raising rates, traders thought… "Oh, the Fed is raising rates. It's time to get into higher interest rate products! We haven't seen rates like these for more than 10 years!" So, they moved their funds to higher-yielding "safe" products. That was a good move. Until it wasn't... When traders saw the incredible profits they missed out on — FOMO! — in sectors like Tech (XLK), they thought… "Man, if only I had invested in AI instead of going to higher-yielding interest rate products. Rats! Think of the money I could have made! Well, I better jump back into the stock market — before I miss out." And so, the herd moved again.
