The Consumer Price Index Has Had a Dramatic Impact on a Post-COVID Market

Post-COVID, the Consumer Price Index news has a dramatic impact on price action each month. Here's a handy chart for today, May 10, on the heels of the latest CPI report, which showed a 0.4% increase for the month of April, in line with the Dow Jones estimate. The number came in at 4.9% year over year, just under the 5% estimate, sending futures higher this morning. How are your sector stocks holding up comparatively?
