Market Review:

Markets Coiling The open of May in the ES is 4190.00. The high of the month, 4206.25, was set on May 1. The low of the month, 4062.25, was set on May 4. On May 5 the market rallied back to close at 4149.00. Since that time the market has been stuck between two numbers contending for the right to be pivot. The FOMC number (where the market was trading at the time of the release of the FOMC statement) is 4150.00. The midpoint of the range thus far in May is 4134.25. We have been seeing the market move back and forth between these numbers throughout this week. At some point, something has got to give. The G7 Meeting is scheduled for this weekend. Gold and Silver are still showing relative weakness.
