Wild Markets Create Too Many Decisions — Simplify and Take Control

Adam O'Dell,
Chief Investment Strategist

Over the years, one study after another has shown that average investors can’t beat the broader market.

That’s why Warren Buffett is so adamant about saying most people should put their money in an S&P 500 index fund and let it ride.

But why do so many people make less money than they could be making?

And what can you do about it?

The answer is simple. Investors tend to make emotional and irrational decisions when it comes to buying and selling stocks…

And when things start to go wrong, they panic.

That’s why almost every time there’s a market crash, investors sell near the bottom and then wait to buy until the market has already soared.

It's the exact opposite of what you should do.

[DEMO] Penny or Dollar? (Not What You Expect)

Something odd is going on with our money.

If you understand what’s going on, you could come out far ahead if you make the right moves.

But if you don’t, you could be blindsided in the days ahead.

According to Nomi Prins, Ph.D., this could be the most important story in the financial world in 2022…

It has little to do with stocks, bonds or cryptocurrencies…

In fact, it all traces back to the humble copper penny.

Knowing this secret could unlock the key to lining your pockets with cash in the months ahead.

Viewer Q&A: 4 Cannabis Grow Supply Stocks Analyzed

By: Matt Clark, Research Analyst

On this week’s Marijuana Market Update, I answer a viewer who asked about cannabis grow supply stocks.

Will emailed me at Feedback@MoneyandMarkets.com to ask:

Love the channel! Thanks for all the great info.

My question is: Who do you think comes out on top in the marijuana grow supply industry? I really like GrowGeneration, but I’m interested on your take. Do you think Scotts or Hydrofarm has a better business model?

Or is there another player that I’m missing? Maybe a big box store like Home Depot decides to compete in this market too. Thanks again for all the content.

Cheers. Will.

I appreciate the question, Will.

Let’s look at the three companies you mention, and I’ll toss in another company with promising prospects.

Ronald Reagan must have been a great investor.

The 40th U.S. president’s famous “trust but verify” plan for Soviet arms control applies to investing as much as to nuclear warheads.

Investors should reconsider what they believe they know.

Today, I want to examine the myth that risks and rewards are correlated.

This myth states: Investors receive compensation for high risks with high rewards.

On the other hand, there is often a connection between low risk and low rewards.

The chart below tells a different story...
