The Hammer reminded us today that political spin is nothing new: 
We had a good idea that the Initial 2Q GDP numbers would come in low. That is because last week the Biden Administration decided it would start to "tweak" what defines a "recession" with this update to whitehouse.gov:
It should come as no surprise that these pretentious political PR "advisors" would try to deflect focus from the reality of things. However just yesterday it was pointed out that even the Wikipedia page for the term "recession" has been revised AND locked (nobody knows who did it): 
So does it really matter? Not if you take anything that released from the government with a grain of salt. (Which we highly recommend) That's where we come in. An easy way to avoid these pitfalls altogether is to not even think. OR... to let something else do the thinking for you. Namely, something without political affiliation, emotion or desire. How do we do that? With computers.
